The Texas legislature only meets once every two years, and the session is over at the end of this month. This is our LAST chance to have a say in what happens to our schools.
Voters really can influence the way politicians vote, and so it's crucial that they hear from us. Many politicians are not familiar with the bills they are voting on, and some don't understand all the implications. When they hear from their constituents, they take that into account when making their decisions. Sometimes one call or one public comment can make the difference.
