This fall’s board races are critical. If Miles’ loyalists, extremists, or the easily bamboozled win, our kids lose.

State test scores are up, but it’s not a Texas Miracle—just Gov. Abbott trying to make the HISD takeover look good. Here’s Dallas and Fort Worth and Houston ISD. 

HISD Board Meeting [LINK]: Speakers start at 1:23 and continue for about 1½ hours. Thank you for standing up for schoolchildren, educators, and the right to read in schools. Keep pushing for small changes to help our kids as we continue the fight for the big win—ending the takeover.
