๐ŸŽถ โ€œDeck the Hallsโ€ for Our Schools at the Dec 11 HISD Board Meeting

December is when Miles often pushes major policy changes. In 2024, he sought retroactive approval for $870 million in spending over 16 months without required board approval. The board tabled it in December but approved it in January. We'll go over the board agenda on Monday at 8 pm. RSVP for details.

Join us to speak during the meeting, sing carols before the meeting, and stand up for our students, educators, and public schools.

โค๏ธ Support CVPE

If you missed our Giving Tuesday email, please consider supporting our work. This year, CVPE trained hundreds of parents, students, and educators; organized dozens of campus meetings and listening sessions; supported families navigating takeover-related disruptions; and mobilized hundreds across Houston to end the harmful takeover.

Can you chip in today to help us meet this moment?

Thank you for being part of this community. See you in December in strategy, in song, and in solidarity.
