You can also hear from the candidates at the HISD Candidate Forum this Thursday, 6:30 PM at Burnett Bayland Gym, 6000 Chimney Rock Two End the Takeover candidates—Felicity Pereyra (D1) and Myrna Guidry (D9)—are running unopposed. Instead of putting them on the ballot as is customary even for unopposed races, Mike Miles bypassed voters and appointed them at the September HISD Board Meeting, showing his disregard for democracy.
