We will write and call our state legislators to support a progressive public educational agenda including the repeal of HB1842 (state takeover of HISD), supporting fully funding our schools, opposing outcome-based school funding as it penalizes the poor, supporting a two year moratorium on charter school expansion and opposing the stranglehold STAAR has on our children's lives.
