We are holding a short press conference on Thursday at 4:30pm in front of Hattie Mae White HISD Administration Building
-to oppose the DeVos appointment as Secretary of Education.
-to "promote" HISD's decision to end the use of STAAR for promotion at grades 3, 4, 6 and 7
-to support the upcoming vote to end the use of test scores to evaluate teachers except in 23 TIF grant schools.
