Support opt out parents who will be speaking at the HISD Board meeting by attending the May 14 School board meeting: Wear a NAVY BLUE shirt and bear witness to the testimony of our speakers. The board meeting starts at 5 pm and some board members may be speaking about high stakes testing at B1 but CVPE speakers will be speaking at the hearing of citizens at the end of the meeting. 

Options
1. Arrive at 5:00 and bring a laptop or a book and stay until the hearing of citizens. There is wifi in the boardroom.
2. Arrive at 6:30 pm. We will speak sometime between 6:45-8 pm ish.
