On Thursday, from 4:30-8 pm, join parents, teachers, students, and community for a READ-IN to stand up for public schools and libraries and librarians in ALL our schools

Bring your favorite book to read. Start the read-in in the HISD Lobby at 4:30 pm and continue the read-in during the board meeting which begins at 5:30 pm. Come whenever you are available. Bring a folding chair in case there is not enough seating.

To speak at the board meeting, you must sign up by noon on Wednesday.  The sign up opens at 5:30 pm on Monday.
