• We’ll be traveling from Houston to Austin on Monday, March 10, departing at 6:00 AM ish from the Houston Federation of Teachers office at 2704 Sutherland St, Houston, TX 77023. We will be leaving Austin no later than 3:30 pm and will be back at the HFT parking lot at around 6:00 pm.
• If you are driving yourself, meet at 10am at First United Methodist Church of Austin with HFT, 1201 Lavaca St Austin, TX 78701 right next door to the Capitol.

We will be visiting the offices of Republican and Democratic state legislators to speak about why we support more funding for public education and oppose vouchers and the HISD state takeover.
