Governor Abbot may take over HISD today.

First he starves our schools of funding, then he blames our schools. Now he wants to take over our schools. This is about power and profits and not our kids. 

As student Elizabeth Rodriguez recently said at a rally, ”Instead of punishing us with a takeover, our schools should be better funded to make sure students have all the support we need and the facilities we deserve. We are not just test scores.”
