We know that many in Houston still don’t have electricity. Others are cleaning their yards, throwing out food from their fridges, and dealing with damages and even death. We want to respect where you are during this time.
We have checked with the church and they have power, so we are moving forward with the Forum.
If you are able, we are encouraging you and the 100+ registered friends, neighbors, and colleagues to join us at the Forum as a place to learn, connect, cool-off, and eat yummy food. The CVPE Summer Forum is on Sat. July 13, at Resurrection Church (2025 W 11th) and starts at 8:30 am. You can still purchase tickets (regular, student, and discounted) at houstoncvpe.org/forum2024. |
We will have paper copies of the program on Saturday, but you can preview the program including all of the sessions and descriptions in the link below. Some sessions will be in both English and Spanish. |
We have a children’s activity center that starts at 8:30 am for kids ages 3-13. If you think you might utilize this service, can you reply with the name and age of your child(ren)? We have recommended student sessions for those over 13 years old. After the forum we are planning a social gathering at Cactus Cove (3333 W 11th St, less than 1 mile away from the church). If you have any questions, please feel free to text me at 713-384-5038. Thanks again for being a special part of CVPE's Forum 2024! With love and gratitude, Maria Benzon and the CVPE team |
