The Justice Coordinating Council and Community Voices for Public Education are jointly sponsoring a teach-in on the HISD Takeover by the Texas Education Agency following Sunday services on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.  

Everyone is encouraged to attend because what happens to HISD affects our entire community. Come to learn about the history behind the takeover, facts about the harmful effects of the changes, why this is a social justice issue, and how you can do to help.
