CVPE is hosting the 2nd Annual School Essentials Drive to fill the gap because Superintendent Miles eliminated wraparound specialists—the staff who connected families with supplies, food, uniforms, and support. Families are struggling, and HISD has turned its back, so we’re stepping up.

Meanwhile, Miles has tripled the number of central office executives making over $200K—while gutting the very services families rely on.

Together, we can support families and show up where F Mike Miles won’t.

Also, if you’re able, please consider donating to support those still recovering from the devastating Central Texas flash floods. [Here’s where you can give.]

This Sunday at 5 pm, join us in Bellaire/Gulfton to knock on doors and stand up for public education! We’ll talk to neighbors about what’s happening in HISD and why this year’s school board races matter.

RSVP for more info and location

Then on National Good Trouble Day—Thursday, July 17 at 7 PM, meet the Save Our Schools candidates who oppose the harmful takeover and are fighting for strong, community-led public schools.

RSVP for more info and location.
