This summer, Community Voices for Public Education is hosting our second Student Leadership & Advocacy Summer Summit—a hands-on program for Houston ISD high school and college students to become powerful voices for change.
👉 Please donate today to support our future leaders.
We’re raising $4,500 to cover stipends, meals, and materials so all students can participate—especially those from under-resourced communities. Students will build leadership skills, explore education policy, and complete a service project during a 4-week internship.
Under this harmful takeover, teachers are fired for singing or connecting with students. Principals are told to silence families. In any school system, kids need leadership opportunities—but under this regime, building student leaders is a moral act.
Will you invest in Houston’s youth today?
